Tags :SAARC Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, is fast becoming one of the busiest airports in the country, with seven domestic airlines operating 90 flights daily and four international airlines operating from the airport. The airport reported a 46.8% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 1.9 million in FY05/06. The major domestic carriers are Jet Airways and Spicejet.
