View More Air China News Tags :China, Air China Air China code share with Air Macau launched a new route between Macau and Wuhan on 15th January 2010 with 4 flights weekly, with which arrive at Macau on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 9:30 pm and depart from Macau to Wuhan at 10:30 pm. Air China has powerful routes and sales network both in Mainland and all over the world. The starting of Macau/Wuhan route, not only provides a convenient way connecting Macau and middle area of China, but is also a touchstone of enhancing cooperation between Macau International Airport and Air China. Furthermore, it is also striving to promote Air China to develop more routes connecting MIA and mainland through their mature network, and to foster local economic development so as to achieve win-win situation. In the past year, MIA has provided a series of new incentives to meet the market demand, aiming to assist the airlines to develop their routes and markets while reduced costs of operation, and to tide over the difficulties. This move enables airlines to restart air services that were previously stopped in the past, for Malaysia, Thailand and Mainland, and to open new routes for Penang, Laoag, Nanning, Melbourne and Sapporo. Wuhan route has brought a good starting for Macau civil aviation industry in this year, Viva Macau plans to launch Macau to Hanoi in February. As passengers’ confidence and air travel recover, we are confident that airlines will begin launching new air services and routes to MIA.
