Fitch Ratings assigns an 'A+' underlying rating to approximately $215.9 million Airport Commission, City and County of San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport (SFO or the airport), second series revenue refunding bonds. The bonds will be issued as variable-rate demand obligations and are expected to be supported by a direct pay letter of credit with JPMorgan Chase.

CHINA : Air China code share with Air Macau launched a new route between Macau and Wuhan on 15th January 2010 with 4 flights weekly, with which arrive at Macau on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 9:30 pm and depart from Macau to Wuhan at 10:30 pm.

As part of preparing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), in conjunction with domestic airlines, have agreed to implement hand luggage restrictions. The purpose is to ensure a reduction in unnecessary flight delays.

The walkout of baggage handling personnel for ISS Aviation, which handles the loading and unloading of baggage for, among others, Blue1, Lufthansa and SAS, had a minimal impact on flight traffic.

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) today officially launched two new facilities: the SkyPier, a new cross-boundary ferry terminal; and the North Satellite Concourse, which is equipped with 10 bridge-served parking stands for narrow-bodied aircraft. The facilities have been soft-opened since mid-December 2009.

Berlin Airports will hand the operation of the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport over to ExecuJet Europe this Friday. ExecuJet was successful in winning the Europe-wide tender and will be responsible for the handling of all business aviation movements in future.
