HUNGARY : Malév and Budapest Airport are enhancing the attractions of the capital's airport and flights operated by the Hungarian national carrier with extremely advantageous offers and a service package designed to meet the demands of Slovak passengers. The two companies are providing direct transfers and significant parking discounts, which make it easier to reach the Malév network.

The first phase of the apron extension in Ferihegy has reached completion. The construction of this stretch of concrete of 46 000 square meters was made necessary by the ongoing terminal development project, as Terminal 2 is going to be extended in the direction of Apron North-West.

From 31-May-09 Aeroexpress will increase frequency of trains on Paveletsky station Domodedovo airport destination. For the comfort of passengers during rush-hours trains will depart every 30 minutes. Three more frequencies have been added: at 6:00, 8:30 23:30 to Domodedovo and two at 7:30 22:30 from Domodedovo.

Budapest Airport (BA) commences demolition and construction works on the new Terminal 2 building at Ferihegy Airport called the SkyCourt at the end of April. During the construction period, the arrivals level of the terminal will be closed to vehicle traffic.

On 29-Mar, the operations at Prague Airport started according to the summer 2009 flight schedule. Within its validity period, until 24-Oct, 50 airlines will offer direct scheduled connections with over 125 destinations in 52 countries.

In the Summer 2009 schedule passengers traveling via Warsaw Chopin Airport will be offered several new services. New destinations will be added and services to popular holiday destinations resumed. The summer flight schedule will be effective from 29-Mar-09.
