UNITED KINGDOM : Airline transforms entire UK check-in with IBM self service system

UNITED KINGDOM : bmi has unveiled (06-Apr-09) its new Premium Check-in area at London Heathrow’s Terminal 1. The new glass surround area is located on the main concourse of Terminal 1 and provides a fast and hassle free check-in service for Business Class and Premium Economy customers as well as bmi Diamond Club Gold and Silver Card holders.

UNITED KINGDOM : Complimentary Chauffeur Drive for selected Business Class fares is available (04-Mar-09) on three additional bmi routes from London Heathrow. Six routes now offer the service, with a seventh, Kiev to follow later this month when the new route commences. Customers travelling on selected Business Class fares to Cairo, Tel Aviv and Beirut can now take advantage of this service, following the launch of Chauffeur Drive on routes to Moscow and Saudi Arabia last month.
